PLEASE READ THIS END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT ("EULA" OR "AGREEMENT") CAREFULLY BEFORE DOWNLOADING, INSTALLING, OR USING ANY FONT SOFTWARE FROM MABHAL STUDIO (www.mabhalstudio.com).
BY DOWNLOADING, INSTALLING, OR USING THE FONT SOFTWARE, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS AGREEMENT. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, DO NOT DOWNLOAD, INSTALL, OR USE THE FONT SOFTWARE.
1. PARTIES & LICENSOR IDENTIFICATION
This Agreement is between you (either an individual or a legal entity, referred to as "Licensee", "You", or "Your") and Mabhal Studio ("Licensor"), represented by founder Abdullah, based in Banten, Indonesia.
Mabhal Studio is an official member of Perkumpulan Desainer Huruf Indonesia (PDHI) / Indonesia Font Designers Association (SK Menteri Hukum dan HAM Republik Indonesia Nomor: AHU-0000261.AH.01.07.Tahun 2020).
2. OWNERSHIP & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Font Software is the exclusive property of Mabhal Studio and is protected by copyright laws of the Republic of Indonesia, international copyright treaties, and other intellectual property laws.
This Agreement grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Font Software under specified conditions. You are acquiring usage rights only; you do not acquire ownership of the Font Software.
3. LICENSE TIERS & PERMITTED USES
Your permitted use of the Font Software depends strictly on the license tier acquired:
A. Free / Personal Use License
Cost: Free.
Restricted exclusively to personal, non-profit, or experimental projects where no monetary gain or commercial activity is involved.
Permitted Uses
- Personal projects only
- Non-profit organization usage
- Non-commercial artwork and designs
Standard License Restrictions
- Not permitted for end products for sale or merchandise
- Not permitted for web usage
- Not permitted for digital ads usage
- Not permitted for ePub/eBook embedding
- Not permitted for logo usage
- Trademark registration not allowed
- Not permitted for app, game, or server usage
- Not permitted for broadcast, movie, or video usage
Scope
- 1 user
- 1 computer
- Lifetime license
B. Commercial License (Donationware)
Cost: Pay-what-you-want donation via PayPal.
Grants standard commercial usage rights for small-scale commercial projects, individual creators, micro-businesses, and standard marketing collateral.
Permitted Uses
- Unlimited commercial projects
- Up to 1,000 units end products for sale
- Webfont usage up to 10,000 pageviews per month
Commercial License Restrictions
- Not permitted for digital ads usage
- Not permitted for ePub/eBook embedding
- Not permitted for logo usage
- Trademark registration not allowed
- Not permitted for app, game, or server usage
- Not permitted for broadcast, movie, or video usage
License Scope
- 1 user
- 5 computers
- Lifetime license
C. Business License
Cost: $199 USD (or single-payment equivalent).
Designed for agencies, studios, mid-size businesses, and professional freelancers requiring broader commercial rights.
Permitted Uses
- Unlimited commercial projects
- Up to 5,000 units end products for sale
- Webfont usage up to 1 million pageviews per month
- Unlimited digital ads usage
- ePub/eBook embedding for up to 5 titles
- Logo usage for up to 3 logos
- Trademark registration allowed
- 1 app, game, or server usage
Business License Restrictions
- Not permitted for broadcast, movie, or video usage
License Scope
- 5 users
- 20 computers
- Lifetime license
D. Corporate License
Cost: $1,990 USD (or enterprise arrangement).
Designed for large corporations, enterprise organizations, national/global brands, broadcasting, and large-scale applications.
Permitted Uses
- Unlimited commercial projects
- Unlimited end products for sale
- Unlimited webfont pageviews per month
- Unlimited digital ads usage
- Unlimited ePub/eBook embedding
- Unlimited logo usage
- Trademark registration allowed
- Unlimited app, game, and server usage
- Unlimited broadcast, movie, and video usage
License Scope
- 25 users
- Unlimited computers
- Lifetime license
4. PROHIBITED USES & RESTRICTIONS
Regardless of the license tier, the following actions are strictly prohibited without prior written consent from Mabhal Studio:
- No Resale or Redistribution: You may not sell, rent, sub-license, share, host, or redistribute the Font Software files (.otf, .ttf, .woff) on any public website, repository, or template platform.
- No Modification or Decompilation: You may not modify, adapt, reverse-engineer, decompile, convert, or extract glyph shapes to create derivative font software.
- No Extractable Embedding: You may not embed the Font Software into digital documents (PDFs, apps, websites) in a manner that allows third parties or end users to extract or install the font files.
- No Illegal or Unlawful Use: You may not use the Font Software in connection with illegal, libelous, or deceptive materials.
5. PROOF OF LICENSE VALIDITY
For Commercial, Business, and Corporate Licenses, your license becomes legally valid only after:
- Payment/donation is completed via PayPal.
- Payment verification details are sent to mabhalstudio@gmail.com.
- An official Sales Receipt, EULA, or License Certificate is formally issued by Mabhal Studio to your registered email address.
6. TERMINATION
This Agreement is effective until terminated. Mabhal Studio reserves the right to terminate your license immediately without notice if you fail to comply with any terms of this EULA. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Font Software, destroy all copies installed on your computers, and remove font files from active projects.
7. DISCLAIMER & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
THE FONT SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. MABHAL STUDIO DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE OPERATION OF THE FONT SOFTWARE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
IN NO EVENT SHALL MABHAL STUDIO BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE FONT SOFTWARE.
8. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of Indonesian courts.
